Historic Red Deer Estate in the Brisbane Valley
Staghurst is set in the Somerset region of the Brisbane Valley at the headwaters of the Brisbane River.
The property was named when selected as the site for the release of red deer after Queen Victoria gifted the deer to the state of Queensland for naming the state after her.
The Breeding Farm on the Banks of the River
In 2010, we transformed this idyllic property into a modern well equipped thoroughbred breeding operation. Our mission is to breed the best generic strength in foals based on known historical performance to maximise the odds of racing success.
